We're thrilled to announce the release of WhisperScript Lite v1.2.1, specifically designed for our free users. This update brings a selection of powerful new features from the Pro version to speed up your transcription workflow.

Here's what's new in WhisperScript Lite v1.2.1:

Bookmarks 📚 - Easily bookmark important transcript segments.
Multiple selections - Select multiple transcript segments, for easy favoriting.
Change playback speed - Adjust audio playback speed for improved control during transcription.
Copy entire transcript to clipboard (without timestamps) - Quickly copy and share your transcript.

Please note that the full set of features announced in our GitHub post are exclusively available in the Pro version of WhisperScript. The pro version additionally includes:

Multiple selection and segment actions (copy, remove, merge, bookmark)
Bookmarking, filtering, and exporting bookmarked or selected segments as individual clips.
Enhanced transcript functionality (auto-saving changes, copy without timestamps)
Saving and Re-opening from .srt
Improved audio format support (FLAC, OGG, OPUS)
Introducing Regions, transcript segment visualizations on the timeline – to see exactly where the text is being spoken.
Add new Regions, adjust Region length, move Regions around, merge and delete Regions.
Optimizations for better usability and performance

To download the latest version of WhisperScript Lite, log in to your Gumroad account and find the new version in your library: https://app.gumroad.com/library.
